    I have a question?

I was wondering what Danny was worth. Not that I was wanting to trade him, I'm one of those who wouldn't trade him period.

What player do you consider as having the exact same value as Danny at this point in time, meaning right now today..

I would hope his upside would make him more valuable than Joe Johnson, but I really have no idea. I like Dukie's comparison better!

exact same? thats hard to say considering we havent seen the best of granger yet hes still growing.

I wouldnt trade him for joe johnson, but id most likely trade him for wade, paul, dwight, lbj, possibly deron williams he was a beast in the playoffs. thats about it.

Joe Johnson, are you kidding me?

I don't even know. All I know is that I would trade Danny for an elite PG, that's it. Danny could still get better.

I'm not asking for who you think is better than Danny and who you would trade him for, we have a lot of those threads, just who in your mind has the same value.

                Jeff Green?

lol but seriously, it's hard to gauge since, as others have said, Danny is still growing as a player. He also seems pretty unique, as far as his skill set. He's turning into a great scorer, though he still has work to do. It'd be awesome to see him improve his ball handling even more, as well as add more of a post game. He's not "great" at any other aspect (skill) of the game, but is respectable-to-good at most things. The X-factor would be his attitude... his demeanor and the way he carries himself. He has all the traits of being a good leader.

With that said... who would I compare Danny's value to? From a skill standpoint the closest I can think of might be Kevin Durant. Durant is more athletic and versatile, and is a better rebounder, but does he have the same persona qualities that Danny has? I don't think we know yet. Would I trade Danny for Durant? I'd have to give it another year before I made that decision. So yes, I'm copping out of an answer here

His value is the same as other untouchables in the league. There are a lot of players out there besides the Howards, Wades, and CP3s that teams wouldn't trade. Durant, Aldridge, and Josh Smith come to mind. Maybe even players like Deng fall into this categoty. He's in the class of very good young players that organizations want to keep and wouldn't trade for anyone except the elites. I think age definitely plays a role with this and so does potential. Here's a quick example off the top of my head: even though Paul Pierce might put up bigger numbers than Aldridge, the Blazers might not trade him because he is much younger and could be just as successful. These players mean more to teams than just bringing a big name into town.

Take out the persona factors and I think Joe Johnson is at least as good as Granger.

I thought Igoudala was slightly better last year, but Granger is better this year.

I would trade Danny straight up for Paul Pierce. Pierce is better, but Danny is younger.

I wouldn't trade Danny for Dirk.

I would trade Danny for Al Jefferson, Amari, Ginobli, and the usual superstars.

Really? I think Danny has a lot higher value than Ginobili.

At this point in their careers, I think Danny has more value than Paul Pierce. If Boston was rebuilding, they would trade us Pierce for Granger in a heartbeat IMHO.

I'm not sure Granger has reached his ceiling yet, so at this point I can't place a value on him.

How old is Ginobili? I could take that back.

He's 31. He's also never averaged more than 19.5 ppg and I know his intangibles are outstanding but that's not enough for me.

Barkley thinks he's the best player in the league (or did a couple years ago).

Come clutch time, he's pretty much unstoppable.
